Muslims demand apology from Pope

Do I think the Pope should have incited these people by referencing their prophet in negative terms? No. Do I think this is being blown way out of proportion by a group of people who have reactionaries among them who DO serve their religion with violence? Yes."Of course as we know the meaning of jihad can only be understood by Muslims," Budianto told the crowd. "Only Muslims can understand what jihad is. It is impossible that jihad can be linked with violence, we Muslims have no violent character."Budianto was correct. The only thing I know about jihad I learned in sixth grade social studies. But the last sentence was plain wrong. I don't believe that Muslims are a violent people. They love God, their families, their countries, and their religious figures just like the rest of us. But you absolutely cannot deny that there are SOME Muslims who do use violence. The same way there are extremists in any other religion, they do exist in Islam.I wish it wasn't that way. Unfortunately though, you can only stop it by reminding them what is so marvelous about their religion. And the Pope got up to talk about stopping violence in every religion ... and churches got fire bombed in Gaza. Not violent my *ss.
