Elevator repairs causing delays - News

I would just like to say that this "news article" from the Gamecock (which I love dearly) is not really news. Moreover, I cannot understand why these students are taking the elevator in buildings that max out at 3 stories (Humanities may be taller, but I never had a class higher than that.) If you want elevator outages, try Capstone when there is a conference on the 18th floor (reserved elevator) and another elevator on the fritz. That's something worth complaining about!

Stupid SPAM

And not in a can.

I think I have discovered the reason behind the new trend of SPAM including stories or sections from articles, etc. People are trying to evade the filters by making the messages look ever more real (by computer reading standards) so as to slip through those tiny cracks. Luckily, my filter is smarter than the average bear (Boo-boo).

Now if anyone could please explain to me why people bother to spam other people at all. Aside from the messages about selling things, that, I grudgingly understand (though wholeheartedly disapprove of), I can't really find a purpose for other types of spam. It seems like a great big waste of time if you ask me. It's sort of like that graffiti that is written in weird letters no one can actually read - pointless.

Love always, ~Heather

NASA Space Pen

NASA Space Pen: a ten-year, $12 million price tab ...

I recently had to write a paper on a rumor perpetuated by the Internet. In my travels, I came across this one. Although it wasn't started on the Internet, it certainly has made the rounds!

NASA Nerd Fun

This is awesome. I love when space nerds hang out. Nerds or not, we really know how to party!
